All living beings or organisms are made up of various cells, and those cells have distinct features of their own. As we know, the small unit that is present in a living organism, that makes its food for its survival is known to be cells. Animal Cells vs Plant Cells

The main difference between Animal cells and plant cells is that they have a major difference in their respective cell walls. The Animal Cells do not consist of any cell wall, therefore their shape and size are generally irregular or round. On the other hand, the Plant Cells consist of a cell wall. Therefore, they have a fixed rectangular shape. Also, Animal Cells are not featured with Chloroplasts, and on the other hand, Plant Cells are featured with Chloroplasts.

The Animal Cells are the smallest unit in all animals, it is smaller in size. The animal cells do not consist of any cell wall, therefore their shape and size are not regular and hence round. Animal Cells only consist of a plasma membrane, and also a membrane-bound nucleus, and organelles. Therefore, it is surrounded or protected by the plasma membrane as an outer covering. Animal Cells are further divided into various types.

On the other hand, the Plant Cells are also the smallest unit in plants, but the size of the plant cells are comparatively larger than the animal cells. The plant cells have a definite rectangular or cube shape. The plant cells are constituted of organelles, cytosol, cytoplasmic structure, cell membrane (or the plasma membrane), and the cell wall. Animal Cells are constituted with a plasma membrane, also membrane-bound nucleus, and organelles. Therefore, each cell parts perform its respective features and produce its food. This is only because of the presence of the cell wall, that holds the cells and gives strength to them, and forms a definite shape.

Plant Cells are constituted with a cell wall, organelles, cytosol, cytoplasmic structure, and a cell membrane (or the plasma membrane). Without these features, the cells can not further proceed with their processes such as the procedure of photosynthesis, or the exchange of carbon dioxide to oxygen. Plant cells are featured with Chloroplasts. The cell membranes of a Plant Cell the not associated with cholesterol. The plant cells have nothing to do with cholesterol, as only get their nutrients from the sunlight, the exchange of carbon dioxide, and last but not least the watering of plants.
