As the name suggests, whipped cream is made by mixing a mixture of milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until a thick texture is derived, as the name suggests. The texture of whipped cream is often light.

Whipped cream contains twice the amount of sugar as a cool whip. The origination of whipped cream can be traced back to the 16th century, when it was included as a complimentary food ingredient in Italy and France in the years 1549 and 1604, respectively.

Whipped may appear yellow because of the use of vegetable oil while making it. Whipped cream also has a high percentage of water, i.e., up to 60 to 80%. It is also rich in different kinds of vitamins, such as A, D, E, K, etc.
