What is Drip Coffee?

The drip coffee is named from the preparing process of coffee. This is s specific process in which the coffee is prepared. There are many ways to prepare a coffee, but this is the healthiest way of preparation. Though this preparation takes a long time. The brewing coffee is dripping at its own slow and steady pace. It takes a long time the preparation.

In this process, the roasted coffee beans are grounded and are put into a filter. This filter is either made of a thin sheet of paper or thin metal material or may be made of plastic. The grounded coffee beans are placed in the filter, and hot water is poured into it. The water mixes with the beans, and the coffee, which is brewed in this way, drip down in the utensil or preferably glass which is put under it. This mode of preparation is considered healthiest.

This is because in dripping the coffee through the filtration process, no other preservatives or other chemicals are not added. This controls the taste of the coffee intact. On the other hand, this process is not passed through any other refining, so all the important coffee oils and fats remain as it is, making them healthier.

What is Brewed Coffee?

 Brewed coffee is a universal name. Every coffee is made only after brewing the coffee beans. The process of making every variety of coffee has this step in common. Starting from cold coffee to iced to hot and every other, this is the most process. The process of brewing may differ in every variety. The process may include filtering and dripping process or the percolator or may even use a French press. But the basic principle of all preparation is the same. The amount of caffeine is less in this variety as other substances are also mixed.

In some, the beans are put in hot water and waited till it gets brewed, and on the other, the almost hot water is passed through the beans and waited. Both of these methods are equally famous and time-consuming. There is a famous quote which said that waiting for leads to tasty and best results. In some processes, the healthy oils and fats of the coffee are preserved, and in some, they get lost. But these oils are very good for health, so the processes in which these are preserved should be used for the best results out of the beans.

Main Differences Between Drip and Brewed Coffee
