What is NFC?

Among the two conferences of the National Football League, NFC is the first one. The term NFC stands for the National Football Conference. It was founded in 1970. At this moment, 16 teams play under this conference. These teams are divided into four divisions.

The four teams that represent the east division are Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys. On the other hand, the four teams represent North division are Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers.
