What is HDD?
HDD also is known as fixed disk uses magnetic tape for the storage of data. HDD stores the data magnetically by using the rotating disks. HDD is a non-volatile storage medium meaning it can retain the data which is stored even when the system is switched off.

Main Differences Between SSD and HDD
- SSD stores the data on a flash memory card. HDD stores the data on the magnetic drive.
