The Kolkata Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024 are as follows:
Age Limit
- As on January 1, 2024, the candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 30. For reserved categories and other unique situations, there is some relaxation.
Education Qualification
- The West Bengal body of Secondary Education’s Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent must have been passed by the candidate from an accredited body.
Language
- The candidate must be fluent in Bengali, with the exception of those who live permanently in the hill subdivisions of the Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process 2024
There are five stages in the Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process 2024.
- Preliminary Written Exam
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Final Written Examination
- Interview
The marks from the final written test and the interview will be used to create the final merit list. Prior to commencing their employment, the chosen applicants will need to go through a medical checkup and have their documentation verified.
