Selection Process for Border Security Force
The procedure for recruiting Sub Inspectors (SI) within the Border Security Force (BSF) Group B comprises multiple stages. Firstly, applicants must participate in a written test, marking the primary selection phase. This examination is conducted at specified centers, with candidates receiving notification through email/SMS to access their call letters online. The written test comprises two composite papers.
The initial examination, with a duration of 90 minutes, consists of multiple-choice questions administered on an Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based response sheet. This bilingual question paper is provided in both Hindi and English and encompasses topics including General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering (Civil/Electrical). It comprises a total of 100 questions, each worth 1 mark, amounting to a total of 100 marks.
