Reese Candy Company which is a division of the Hershey Company. It is a confectionery product that markets worldwide.
The chocolate has a standard bar that consists of two or four pieces and has three layers of the wafer.
The outer layer is covered by a layer of pure chocolate.
They have it in different flavors like milk, white, and also dark chocolate although all of these flavors are not available everywhere.
The original bar had a red wrapper which was changed to blue between the years 1945 and 1947. The logo was added in the year 1937.
Since milk was scarce after World War II, the use of dark chocolate came into being instead of milk chocolate.
Traditionally the chocolate came wrapped in silver foil but this was changed to a wrapped plastic in 2001.
