Rather, Flash served as a dominant multimedia platform, particularly for browser games.
When Flash came into the market, it was installed on desktop computers to play games and audio or video content. Furthermore, Flash video games had an impressive online market.
Some of the games created in association with Flash were angry birds, Clash of Clans, Hundreds, and Bubble Shooter. Adobe Flash was also used for popular animations like Littlest Pet Shop and Pound Puppies.
However, there are some drawbacks to Adobe Flash. Firstly, modern mobile devices are incompatible with Flash. Secondly, Flash is seen as a security threat due to speculations around its public specifications.
Thirdly, flash cookies, just like HTTP cookies, often tend to trap consumer information without their knowledge. At present, Adobe Flash has been discontinued all across the globe except in China.
