Warcraft is a real-time strategy (RTS) game that was released in 1994. Players must destroy their opponent’s base by controlling one of four groups: Human Alliance, Orcish Horde, Night Elf Sentinels or the Undead Scourge.

Some people who are just getting into Warcraft for the first time may feel overwhelmed because they don’t know what to do. Some players will say that Warcraft is a simpler game. In some ways, they are right because there are fewer skills to worry about in this type of game.

The game is divided into two main regions, the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor for Alliance players, while Horde players will have to deal with The Burning Crusade region in Outland and Northrend, which are separate from each other.

There’s also a third area called Pandaria that you can explore as either faction, but it’s located in the Eastern Kingdoms.

Main Differences Between Wow and Warcraft

  1. The difference in World of Warcraft, or WoW as it’s sometimes called, is that this type of game has more skills than just combat. Warcraft is a simpler game. There are fewer skills to worry about in this type of game.
  2. The combat system is what you would expect from the typical RPG, with players taking turns where each player has a certain number of moves or actions which can be executed during one turn. That’s the difference between WoW and Warcraft because, in Warcraft, it lies in what the player does between combats.
  3. WoW is what you would call an MMORPG or Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. You cannot play it alone as what you do in the game affects what other players are doing, but in Warcraft, you can play alone, also.
  4. Wow was first released in 2004, and on the other hand, warcraft was released in 1994.
  5. Wow was invented by an American company called Blizzard Entertainment. And warcraft is what you call a strategy game that is designed to be played alone.
