3d Tv comes with a full 3D setup. The images appear double or blurry to the naked eye. Hence we require a pair of specialized glasses specially adapted for 3D view.

The Tv has a very high resolution and provides a high-quality picture. We can enjoy real-life experiences in the out Tv room.

On the other hand, 3D ready Tv does not come with a ready-made Tv setup. They are affordable, and we can choose to buy the extra part accordingly.

It comes with a 2D view with an option for a 3D upgrade. The only disadvantage is that we need extra effort for the 3d view. The quality of the picture is great.

What is 3d TV?

It is a television-based technology that creates a three-dimensional effect. The images produced have depth, height, and width similar to real-life objects. It lets the viewers enjoy a real-life-like experience.

The whole concept is based on a principle known as stereoscopic imaging. It has a scientific explanation behind it. Technically, a 3D Tv produces two different images.

One for the left eye and another for the right eye. We need specialized glasses to perceive this 3D view. Recently, more advanced technology has been introduced based on autostereoscopic imaging.

Here, special glasses are not necessary. People can perceive the 3D view with their naked eyes.

The multi-view technique is unique. If we try to watch the tv with bare eyes, the picture might appear blurred. Sometimes we can even sense the presence of two different blurred visions.

The addition of 3D glasses helps to interlace them into a single picture. It is a perfect match to enjoy a 3D view.

All the common television types, such as LCD, LED, OLED, and plasma Tv has the 3D feature. However, it must be kept in mind that 3D glasses do not work with any and every Tv. The newest LCD and LED TVs have passive 3D technology.

What is 3d Ready TV?

3D-ready TVs are the ones that are designed in such a way that they can be set up for a 3D view. It does not come with the whole setup. We need to buy the parts separately to perceive a 3D vision.

For a TV to be 3D-ready, it needs a minimum resolution of 120 Hz. This is because each of our eyes requires the least display of 60 Hz. The more the resolution, the better fit it is to provide a 3D experience.

Suppose a TV has a resolution of 240 Hz. It will be able to output a display of 120 for each eye. Hence the picture is of high quality.

3D ready tv is complete for the 2D experience but incomplete for the 3D experience. The Tv setup comes with a full package for a direct 2D view.

People can enjoy it right out of the box. It is affordable and comfortable. It does come with height and width but lacks depth.

For the three-dimensional feature, depth must be added. We need some add-on equipment for that. The parts are to be bought separately from the market and do not come with the package.
