What is Lust?
A strong feeling or sentiment can be characterized as lust. Though lust is commonly associated with sexual sentiments, it can also refer to a desire for power or understanding.
It is defined by several religions, particularly Christians, as an unsuitable longing that contributes to sin. As a result, lust is regarded as ethically immoral.
Lust is among the seven deadly sins as per Catholicism. It shouldn’t be confused with enthusiasm or physical desire, which are both crucial parts of a connection.

Also, attraction is more concerned with a partner’s contentment; but on the other end, lust is purely about own pleasure without regard for the partner’s well-being.
- Attraction can be drawn to both living and non-living entities, such as design or buildings. Lust, on the other hand, can only be satisfied by the human body. People enjoy discussing topics in truth when they’re attracted; on the other hand, a lustful individual avoids actuality.
- Other than outward appearance, intellect, skills, and personal qualities are taken into account in the attraction process. Whereas, in lust, a person’s body and appearance are the only things that matter.
