UPPSC Recruitment 2024: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Distt. Horticulture Officer Group-2, Grade -I, Principal State Food Science Training Centre/Food Processing Officer, Group-2, U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘B’ Grade-2 (Chemistry Branch, Botany Branch, Agronomy Branch, Plant Protection Branch, Development Branch) and Senior Technical Assistant Group-A (Agronomy Branch, Botany Branch, Plant Protection Branch, Chemistry Branch, Development Branch). Based on the official notification of UPPSC Recruitment 2024, the lower age limit should be 21 years old and the upper age limit should be 40 years old. There are 268 seats available for the stated position. The candidate must hold B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) from a recognised University or institute.

Essential Qualifications for UPPSC Recruitment 2024:

For Distt. Horticulture Officer. Group–2, Grade–1

The candidate should have B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree from a recognised University or Institute.
Preferential:–
The candidate should have M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree in Horticulture/Fruits/ Vegetable/Floriculture from a recognised university or Institute.
The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period or two years, or
The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.

For Principal State Food Science Training Center/Food Processing Officer, Group–2-

The candidate should have B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) from a recognised University or institute or B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognised University or institute followed by two years Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit and Vegetable Technology from Government Food Processing and Technology Institute, Lucknow or any other recognised institute, or M.Sc. (Food Technology)/M.Sc. (Food preservation)/M.Sc. (Food Science) from a recognised University or institute.

Preferential–

The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.

For U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘b’, Grade–2 (Development Branch)-

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by Government as equivalent thereto.
The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or.
The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.
