Boots are designed for a special purpose that is it meant for walking in rain, snow, mud, dirt etc. Gumboots come in different variants with water-resistant features.

Boots have become a fashion statement as well. Boots are usually worn with socks so that blisters can be avoided, improve the grip of the foot, prevents sweat etc. Boots are used for ice-skating, sporting, riding, skiing, snowboarding etc.
