The entire planet of the earth consists of several continents. These continents consist of several countries, and thereby these countries consist of several cities.

However, the people living in these countries communicate with each other by speaking several local or international languages. As the regions change, the language of communication changes.

In the continent of Europe, several countries have their independent national languages. Two of those languages are 1. Spanish and 2. Latin.

The main difference between Spanish and Latin is that the Spanish language originated in the Castile region in Spain. On the other hand, the Latin language originated in the Latium region in Italy.

However, the Latin language is much older than the Spanish language and is spoken and used by people for communication before the use of the Spanish language.

Several languages like Arabic and German have a minor influence on the Spanish language. Other than that, the Spanish language also shows influence from the Latin language.

The Spanish language is one of the most used living languages in various countries like Spain and America.

What is Latin?

The Latin language is one of the most popular languages from European countries. It is originated from the Latium region, which was further spread in many European and other countries.

The English language has a majority of influence on the Latin language and the ancient Greek language.

The Western Roman Empire was dominated by the Latin language because of the power imposed by the Roman Republic. It was then responsible for the maximum usage of the Latin language in the majority of the locations in Italy.

Other than Italy, many Western countries in Europe show the influence of the Latin language.

The Grammar of the Latin language is highly inflected, and even though it is rarely used by people, it has an influence on many national and international languages. Many words, phrases and context in the English language as well as the Spanish language were derived from the Latin language.

Many ancient theoretical pieces of evidence regarding the various subject matter have been written in the Latin language. These subject matters include the medical field, law and order, various fields of science like agriculture etc.

Many ancient comical works in the Roman Empire were also written in the Latin language.
