Passion as per the English language is a noun; which refers to high levels of emotions. In some specific religious wordings, this also means grief.

Passion has the power of diminishing the fear of hurdles and loss. Adventure sports the likes of mountain climbing, trekking, and wildlife hunts are the most valiant forms of passion.

Steve Jobs stated that the real world changers will be the people who have passion- thus enlightening people that change is only possible if along with hard work and will ample amount of passion is also added.


What is Profession?

A profession is a name given to an individual who has acquired knowledge and skills in a specific area of expertise. A person adhering to a profession is called a professional.

While professionalism is the name given to strict compliance of the ethical and other statutory requirements of the profession.

To gain the title of being a part of a profession. An individual has to gain formal education along with other related training.

Furthermore, the knowledge acquired should be tested in the relevant field. The experience with fieldwork will further aggravate their professionalism.

Professions include the likes of teachers, doctors, engineers, analysts, programmers, accountants, lawyers, judges, and the likes of all such people. A person’s professional life is governed with certain principles which he should practice in his daily decorum as well as at the time of providing services.

A professional in whatever field he is should be compliant to law; honest with duty; have strong values and veracity; be loyal and respectful to both the vocation and the consumers.

Another intriguing aspect of a true professional is that he should be apparent in all aspects and should not disguise any relevant information from a significant party. Concurrently no information about one’s professional field or consumer should be disclosed to an irrelevant party.

At the same time, a professional should keep his career and domestic life detached and should not let any biasness impact his professional decisions.

The person is respected and recognized as he uses the profession to earn money along with serving the community as per his professional domain.

Practicing a specific profession makes that individual a representative of that field. Thus every action he takes will have an impact on the occupation.

Therefore any action or decision should be taken with extreme care.

  5. To be a part of a profession, proper education and experience are required while passion can be self-taught, or at times is a natural flair.

While passion and profession are both extremely important for a satisfying living, there are very few people who succeed in making their passion a profession.

As in such a manner, one would perform the obligated duties with complete devotion, thus not only satisfying the needs of life but also his soul.

While passion provides a person with vigor and joy to move ahead, the profession pays the bills of a person and assist in spending a smooth life.

A balance of both elements should be kept for healthy and happy living!
