Toyota Etios is a four-door subcompact sedan available in petrol and diesel version. The petrol version has a 16V 4 Cylinder engine, and it offers a mileage of 17.6 KMPL.
Meanwhile, the diesel version of the sedan has an 8V 4 Cylinder engine that and offers a mileage of 20 KMPL.
Honda Amaze is also a four-door subcompact sedan but has been labelled as one of the most fuel-efficient cars at its price.

What is Toyota Etios?
Toyota Etios is a subcompact sedan with four doors. It was launched by the Japanese automobile company Toyota in 2010. Since then, it has released numerous upgraded versions of the original vehicle.
The car has a petrol and a diesel variant. The petrol variant has a 1.5 litre 16V, 4 Cylinder engine. This facilitates a power of 90 PS at 5600 RPM as well as a torque of 132 Nm at 3000 RPM.
It offers a mileage of 17.6 KMPL, which is less than its diesel variant.
The diesel-powered Toyota Etios has an 8V, 4 Cylinder engine. This facilitates a power of 68 PS at 3800 RPM. Meanwhile, it has a torque of 170 Nm at 1800-2400 RPM. The car offers a mileage of 20 KMPL, which is better than most Indian cars, but lags behind when compared to the Honda Amaze.
However, a stand-out feature of this car is that it is more spacious. It has a boot space of 595 litres, much more than that of Amaze.
Other features of Toyota Etios include keyless entry, engine immobilizer, traction control, door-ajar warning and EBD. These ensure the driver’s and as well as the passenger’s safety during a ride.
What is Honda Amaze?
Honda Amaze is another four-door subcompact sedan which, interestingly, is labelled as one of the most fuel-efficient cars in India.
It is a sedan version of the Brio hatchback launched by Honda in 2013. The car is one of the smallest sedans that the company manufactures. However, one of its unique advantages is that it is not overpriced.
The car comes in a petrol and diesel variant as well. The petrol variant comes with an I-VTEC 4 Cylinder engine and offers a power of 88 PS at 6000 RPM. It facilitates a torque of 109 Nm at 4500 RPM.
The mileage that it offers is 18 KMPL.
Meanwhile, the diesel variant has an I-DTEC 4 Cylinder engine that is worth a power of 100 PS at 3600 RPM. It facilitates a torque of 200 NM for 1750 RPM.
Its mileage is 25.8 KMPL which is way more than Toyota Etios.
Honda Amaze has a boot space of 400 litres, making it considerably spacious. It has excellent safety features, including a keyless entry, central locking, engine immobilizer, fog lamps, ABS, and EBD.
Moreover, its suspension system is specifically designed for Indian roads, which tend to have a lot of bumps and potholes. Overall, it is a great deal in terms of price and the features it offers.
