They are loose and baggy around the crotch area and the top with a narrow fitting from the knee to foot. They are quite similar to skinny jeans but the only difference is that Carrot Jeans are loose at the crotch.

Mom Jeans are retro-style jeans that are on trend in the late 1980s to early 1990s. As the name suggests “Mom Jeans” does not really mean it would be worn by ladies who are above 35.

But it is a fact that it was worn by ladies of middle-aged Americans in past times.  

In the contemporary world, ‘Mom Jeans” has again become fashionable but this time it is not only limited to middle-aged women but these jeans are also worn by teen girls, college ones, middle-aged women, and beyond them.

Which makes it trendy among all the generation of women. 

Mom’s Jeans are generally solid or light blue. These kinds of jeans are high waist which is above the belly button and makes the buttocks seem larger, longer, and flatter.

These jeans also have narrow legs with ankle-length legs but they are loose around the area of the zipper and crotch. 

Mom Jeans are generally worn with a belt and they can be accompanied by a sweatshirt, blouse, or other shirts which can be tucked into the jeans.

Therefore, it can be said that it should be avoided by women who have curvier shapes and loves very baggy styles because it will affect the legs area by making them look shorter and thicker.

  3. Carrot Jeans are known as “carrot” because it looks like a carrot or an inverted pyramid while Mom Jeans are known as “mom” because it is on-trend in the late 1980s to early 1990s and popular among middle-aged American women
  4. When it comes on-trend, Carrot Jeans are not in trend as it is a new concept introduced in the fashion world. In contrast, Mom Jeans are one of the trendiest jeans in the fashion world. 
  5. When it comes to wearer recommendation, Carrot Jeans are highly recommended to those who do not care about their figure show off. On the other hand, Mom Jeans are for whom comfort is their first choice.
