The main difference between Nintendo Switch and PS5 is that the Nintendo Switch can be played by connecting to a TV or from anywhere with the handheld feature. What is Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch is a hybrid video-game console manufactured by a Japanese Company named Nintendo.

It made its production in 2017. It looks like a tablet that can be docked as a home console as well as used as a portable device. 

6.2 inches and 1280×720 (or 720p) is the screen resolution of the Switch tablet. It uses a controller named Joy-cons, which is attached to both sides of the console while playing handheld games, while, grips are replaced when the console is docked to a device. 

It is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 4310mAh, which means it can work up o 5-6 hours without charging. Meanwhile, it has four USB ports; one USB-C (to charge the console), and three USB 2.0 to connect to the television.

Over and above, it sponsors 32GB internal storage plus a microSD card.

  2. Nintendo Switch is a console that can be controlled either by connecting to a TV or not, since it has handheld mode. Meanwhile, PS5 can be put in use only if it is connected to a TV or a video game. 
  3. PS5 is known for its fastest-loading speed, as it features the game up to 4K at 120Hz or 8K at 60Hz. In the case of the Nintendo Switch, has the processing power of 720p when it is handheld, and 1080p when docked to television. 
  4. PS5 can render only from 8 to 15 GB of RAM for its storage purpose, while, Nintendo Switch can take up to 32 GB of games alongside a microSD card. 
  5. Speaking of its controller, PS5 has a DualSence controller, while, Nintendo Switch features Joy-Con.
