What is Nintendo Wii?
Nintendo Wii is the seventh-generation video game console launched in 2006 by the Nintendo Company. It was the fifth central home game console which gave tough competition to its rivals Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3.
Wii comes with a Wii Remote controller, which can be used for motion sensing and gesture recognition. It was the first Nintendo to have Internet connectivity and digital distribution of games.
It includes full backwards compatibility support for its predecessor GameCube. It comes with apps like Wii Shop Channel, Wii Sports etc. Wii Sports was considered a lethal app for video consoles.

All age group people can play Wii. Has parental controls that restrict the usage of the unhealthy game not meant for children.
Wii Remote has longer sustainability when discussing the control and the controller. It is much more accessible than Joyconn or Switch.

Nintendo Switch comes in the form of a tablet and port or plug, which can be connected to TVs, Laptops etc.; it launched in 2017 as the most portable video game console.
It comes with the Joy-Con controller. Its software supports online gaming as well as wireless connectivity. The Switch also had a revised version called Nintendo Switch Lite which was handheld and came in five colours.
The Switch became one of the fastest-growing home consoles in the world. It has sold almost 79 million units, and the best-selling game was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
It has an LCD screen of 6.2 inches, and the screen has multi-touch sensing. It has a slot for game cards and micro-SD slots.
Switch gives us a choice between playing a handheld or on television. It has a Capture Button where players can capture the moments in the game.
A wide range of games is available on Switch if we compare it to Wii, with nearly 3000 games on Switch. The quality of the game on Switch is far better than on Wii.
It has smooth and high-quality graphics, which makes it more lovable.
