Gone are the days when people sat in front of huge desktop PCs, surrounded by lots of big monitors. Of course, some people still program that way, but today anyone can learn to program quite easily, and all they need is a laptop to do it. The advantage of such computers is that wherever you go, it goes with you. You can work anytime, anywhere.
Today rarely does a job go without using a computer. Most often a notebook computer is purchased for this purpose because it can be used even outside the home. Such a device can also help in learning. But how to decide on a specific model?
Asus Zenbook vs Lenovo Yoga
The dark Pine Grey metal case of the ZenBook has quite compact dimensions. The deck coating is smooth and matte, but the lid has a polished finish with concentric circles and the Asus logo in the center. On the bottom of the case, there is no cover for quick access to the components, the battery is not removable and is located inside. To access the notebook’s internals, you’ll have to remove the entire bottom cover.
The quality of the laptop is excellent: all parts are tightly docked to each other, and there are no factory defects. The structural strength is good, and the point pressure on the lid does not affect the display in any way. The hinges securely hold the screen in a given position, the notebook can be easily opened with one hand. The maximum opening angle, by the way, is 135 degrees.
When you open the lid slightly raise the main part of the body above the table – thus improving ventilation. The idea is that when you open the lid of the laptop, the main unit with the keyboard rises above the table by 5.5 degrees. As a result, you get a more comfortable hand positioning, optimized sound and cooling. The model has an entry-level discrete graphics card from Nvidia: GeForce MX450.
The difference between Asus Zenbook and Lenovo Yoga is that Asus Zenbook has a full HD IPS matrix and a matte finish display diagonal of 13.3 inches is optimal for a working laptop, that you plan to carry with you. On the other hand, Lenovo Yoga has an IPS display with a sufficient margin of brightness and a glossy coating.
Lenovo Yoga is made partly of plastic and partly of aluminium, and it is pleasant to hold in your hand – even though it weighs quite a bit. The screen really rotates 360 degrees around its axis, turning the laptop into a sort of chubby tablet.
The keyboard and touchpad are disabled in this mode. 13.3-inch stylus-enabled touchscreen with thin bezels, up to 18 hours of battery life, AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor and Wi-Fi 6 ensures a pleasure working process.
