Toyota Qualis is a third-generation compact pickup truck manufactured by the company Toyota. It was launched in 2000 but was discontinued by 2004.

The car was a joint venture in the automobile market along with the Kirloskar Group. Initially, critics claimed that the model was outdated when it came to its design, but it did very well in the market.

The car came with impeccable front and rear styling, a comfortable interior, convenient switchgear, a rear air conditioner and an instrument cluster. It had a 2.4-litre 2L-II SOHC diesel engine but was later updated to run on petrol as well.

The 10-seater car had a vinyl interior design and power steering.

There was an updated version of the vehicle, which had 8 seats. It had various additional features, including wood trim, a rear washer and wiper, fog lamps at the front, allow wheels and even a rear spoiler.

Tata Sumo is a mid-size SUV launched by the company Tata Motors. It was launched in 1994 and was discontinued in 2019.

During its run, the name of the vehicle changed several times. First, it was just Sumo, then Sumo Spacio, Sumo Victa, Sumo Gold and finally, Sumo Grande.

The car was very popular for military use and off-roading.

The ten-seater car came in rear and four-wheel drive options. They had a 2.0L Peugeot XD88 I4 diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission.

Features such as a grafting system with electric control of up to 60 km/h, self-locking hubs and a fully automatic solution made it very popular among the public. It had good critic reviews as well.

The series was updated constantly, with each version having better features. The first update was in 1996 with a deluxe version of the car.

It had a new homologated diesel engine with an output of 92 hp.

However, in 2019, the company replaced this vehicle with newer versions of the Tata Safari. These cars were good for military purposes and off-roading as well but had many additional features over Tata Sumo.

Regardless, Tata Sumo sold more than 100,000 units during its run.
