What is Toyota RAV4?
The Toyota RAV4 is one of the best-selling vehicles of the non-pickup truck type. They have cute sales in North America, which are ever-increasing.
It is the most brilliant kind of family crossover and can suit all the owner’s needs. Talking about the size of the vehicle, it is a bit smaller than the Subaru Forester but has a longer wheelbase.
It has more headroom and cargo space but gives a feeling of less roomy space. The cargo space can extend by folding the rear bench to 1796 litres.
I am moving on to the powertrain and fuel economy, its best feature.
The engine gives an HP of 203 and a maximum torque of 189 lb-ft. It has a four-pot 2.5 litre naturally aspirated engine, just like all the other Toyota cars nowadays, and an automatic 8-speed gearbox.
It is fully equipped with multi-LED headlamps, vent flow controls of premium grade and a heating wing mirror with warning indicators for the blind spot.
Although some people are stating it to be a little expensive but to get such unique features, one can go a little opposite.
What is Subaru Forester?
The Subaru Forester is a more adventurous vehicle and can be seen as a good opponent to the RAV4. It has a powerful engine with an HP of 182 to and a fantastic maximum torque of 176 lb-ft.
The CVT gearbox even has virtual gears with seven virtual ratios giving better manual control. Same as Toyota RAV4, it resides a four-pot 2.5 litre.
Subaru Forester gives up on cargo space to provide a much more roomy seating space. It has a little less cargo space when compared to Toyota RAV4 but gives a spacious feel while sitting inside the car.
It is also less expensive than the Toyota RAV4, even with great features like a free collision system, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure alert, and radar-guided cruise control.
Main Differences Between Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester
- The Toyota RAV4 has an engine with a maximum torque of 189 lb-ft and a horsepower of 203. In contrast, the Subaru Forester’s engine gives a maximum torque of 176lb-ft and a horsepower of 182.
