- Yoga mats are not as sturdy as bike mats due to the differences in usage.
- The average thickness of a yoga mat is ¼ to 1 inch. Whereas, the average thickness of a bike/ exercise mat is 1 inch to 3 inches. Thus, yoga mats are thinner and light-weighted than bike mats.
- A yoga mat is adjustable and perfect for low-impact exercises. Bike mats are heavier and fixed on the ground. Yoga mats are less firm, unlike the bike mats that are study and dense inside.
