What is Embassy Suites?

Embassy Suites is a brand owned by the parent company, Hampton Worldwide Holdings Inc. As the name suggests, the chain offers 3-star suites at an affordable price.

It has limited options for food and catering, as only breakfast options are available to guests. The hotels are spread over Canada, Latin America, the United States, and the Caribbean.

They are present at 257 different locations with around 60,000 rooms.

These hotels are owned and operated independently. The first franchise was opened in 1984 in Overland Park, Kansas. Subsequently, two other franchises were opened in Florida, after which operations began to spread throughout a wider area.

The brand managed to bag several awards and mentions in magazines for exceptional services.

The suites offered by the hotels have gained a positive reputation as well. Each sweet had a distinction between a living area and a sleeping area. This allows customers to have ample space, which garners customer satisfaction.

Many of the rooms even feature an atrium-style architecture which might cost a little extra.

Regardless, the scale of operations of the chain is relatively smaller as compared to other brands owned by Hilton. Moreover, the limited food options can be looked at as a limitation while staying at the hotel.

Despite this, Embassy Suites is one of the most popular go-to hotels for tourists.

What is Hampton Inn?

Hampton Inn is another brand owned by Hilton Worldwide. However, unlike the former, it has a wider range of living options. Budget-friendly, as well as mid-range rooms, are available to customers at a reasonable price.

Food and catering options remain limited. The hotels are spread over Canada, the US, UK, China, Europe, and other parts of Central Asia with 2,544 different locations. They constitute more than 266,000 rooms.

These hotels are owned and operated independently as well. The first franchise was opened in 1984 in Memphis, Tennessee. However, it was then owned by Holiday Corporation.

Due to financial difficulties, the brand was sold to Promus Hotel Corporation. Subsequently, the chain soon witnessed an upsurge while being opened in several other locations. Its name was changed to Hampton by Hilton as well.

One of the unique selling points of the rooms is that they are loaded with features and have a premium architecture. Each room has an alarm facility as well as an MP3 player hook-up.

Other amenities include mini-fridges, power outlets with bedside tables, and even ample space for social activities.

Regardless, the brand operates at a larger scale as compared to Embassy Suites. It even supersedes the former in terms of living options and affordability.
