Nest is a home security-based company that originated in California, started with thermostats and smoke or carbon detectors, and after a few years became a whole ecosystem for smart home products.

This company is founded in 2010 by Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers, two apple engineers. This company provides devices that can easily pair with the google smart home platform.
