Difference Between Toyota Glanza and Baleno (With Table)

Toyota has just joined the upscale hatchback segment in India with Glanza. The Toyota Glanza is inspired by the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and combines nearly all its components. It becomes a little difficult to distinguish these vehicles, whether it is the general look or the amenities in the electronic interface. They are, nevertheless, distinct enough to stand out from one another.

Toyota Glanza vs Baleno

The main distinction between the Toyota Glanza and the Baleno is in the engine and variations departments. The Toyota Glanza will only be offered in two high trim levels: G (premised on the Baleno Zeta) and V (premised on the Baleno Alpha), all of which have similar characteristics as the equivalent Baleno version. The Baleno, on the other hand, is offered in a variety of pricing tiers, beginning also with base Sigma petrol and ending with the Alpha petrol-CVT.

Toyota Glanza is available in two trim levels: G and V, with G being just the baseline and V being the premium. The Glanza’s highest equipment includes DRLs, Ultraviolet protective windows, reverse carparks with auditory display, and a leatherette-covered steering wheel. The gear change indication is only present in CVT versions. The Toyota Glanza has received a minor design update. Only the front grill, frontal bumper, and emblems are different on the Glanza,

Baleno is a subcompact car with three engine options: a 1.2-liter VVT, the tried-and-tested 1.3 DDiS diesel, and a mild-hybrid 1.2 Dual Jet petrol engine. It is offered in four variants: Alpha, Zeta, Delta, and Sigma. From the second to the base Delta version, it is exclusively available with a CVT gearbox. One of the most significant benefits of the Baleno over the competition is accessibility to Maruti’s unrivaled end sales and service networks.
