What is PUBG Lite?

In 2018, when the PUBG Mobile game came out, many people were attracted to mobile gaming. Mobile gaming has been on the rise since then. Numerous streamers started to stream their PUBG Mobile gameplay. Due to all this, PUBG Mobile became an iconic mobile game.

However, as more and more updates rolled out, PUBG Mobile stopped supporting low-end devices. Lightspeed & Quantum developed a lighter version of the game to cater to their low-end device users.

PUBG LITE utilizes Unreal Engine 4 and is developed on the original PUBG MOBILE gameplay, creating action-packed matches in Arena Mode that last 10 minutes or less. The game requires only 600 MB of storage and 1 GB of RAM to run smoothly.

This lighter version required significantly less space but provided a similar experience to its bigger version. PUBG Lite has identical features to PUBG Mobile but cuts corners in places that don’t affect the gameplay. For example, in PUBG Lite’s battle royale, only 60 players play simultaneously compared to 100 players in PUBG Mobile.
